Things We’re Digging This Week…

With Memorial Day (and the unofficial start of summer!) right around the corner, we have been busy restocking the greenhouse. You will find fresh annuals, perennials, herbs, hanging baskets, patio décor, and more. If your porch, patio, or garden could use a refresh, now is a great time to stop by. Whether you are planting or decorating, we have a few things we are especially excited about this week.

Memorial Day Hours & Delivery Updates

As we head into the holiday weekend, we wanted to share a few quick updates:

• Strange’s Mechanicsville will be closed on Monday, 5/25, in observance of Memorial Day.
• Strange’s West Broad will remain open for regular business hours on 5/25, though floral deliveries will be paused for the holiday itself.
• Regular business hours and delivery schedules will resume on Tuesday, 5/26.

In addition, veterans and active military will receive 10% off their in-store purchase on Monday with valid military ID as a Memorial Day thank you.

Fresh Greenhouse Restocks for Summer Planting

The greenhouse has been filling up quickly with colorful annuals, hardy perennials, fresh herbs, tropicals, and warm-weather favorites.

If you have been waiting for consistent warm weather, now is a great time to start planting. You can get containers, flower beds, and vegetable gardens going right now. We have also seen many customers refreshing patios and porches with new pots, hanging baskets, and outdoor planters for the season.
